HOYT ALPHA AX-2 29

Starting at compact 29 inches axle to axle, these are the most compact premier bows in our lineup. Whether your tree stand is strapped in a tight spot, you regularly hunt in blinds, or you just prefer a compact set up, the AX-2 29 is the bow for you. Equipped with our famously smooth HBX cam system, the Gen 4 HBX cam is so smooth and easy to shoot, you’ll wear the center of your target out in no time.

While Hoyt engineers were busy making the Alpha AX-2 shoot even better than its predecessor, they somehow managed to trim some weight. Both the Alpha AX-2 29” and 32” are 1/4 lbs. lighter than the Alpha X.

New for 2025, our premier RX-9 and Alpha AX-2 are available in draw lengths down to 23 inches to fit serious bowhunters with shorter draw lengths. The all-new HBXSD cam is designed for optimal performance in draw lengths from 23” to 27” and can be adjusted in half-inch increments across its draw length range.
